On our farm located in upstate New York, we are establishing a superior source of genetics for accelerated lambing. We along with our two sets of twin sons, Thomas and Joseph, and Alden and Calvin operate this 120 acre property located in the heart of the scenic fingerlakes region of central New York. Our goal is to produce animals that lamb year round, grow fast and thrive on a predominantly forage based system. The ewes shown above are grazing stockpiled forage from our hay fields in late December. Grazing these fields provides efficient use of our forage resource and provides high quality nutrition and excellent exercise for our ewes prior to late pregnancy. Ewes maintained on winter grazing develop far fewer health problems than those housed indoors and have clean, beautiful fleeces.
